Doubt

I wondered if I could
Convince the crowd
But I fell in doubt
Of my own forsaken roots
I tried to empty wisdom
I carried all this time
A pitiful caress of light
Despite the openness and rhyme
I fell in miserable fright.
It is a nothingness I crave
My own dull, comfortable grave
What I can earn with my own might.
The justice, wisdom and the right
I always held so dear to my bleeding heart
I spare neither glance nor start
When you I see emerging from the dark
Friends lost and memories no more
I am so frightened, petrified of gore
That lurks beneath your sudden intellect
Behind neglect for all the wisdom
I collect for yours only sake
I drape my veins in red like fake
A coward in the midst of starving night
I am but nowhere and despite the light
Forgiven but believed I am not
So I will leave you all to rot...
