Mistake

Shoot, kill!
Destruction from within.
A punishment for soul
Lost, gracious host for all.
Kill, grieve and be reborn
Into the world you've never known.
Alone and stranded,
Simple minded, can't blend in, amended
In suffering of others feeling bliss
Despite of own fulfillment so amiss.
Lust, care, hunger
Cannot continue any yonder
A barrel's kiss like cooling breeze
A trigger's comfort, but my fingers freeze.
They brake like ice and still I squeeze
A bullet in my brain with ease.
I free myself from looking in your eyes
Ashamed to loose my last disguise.
Appalled by loss;
Unfair burden of this universe.
Blood flows, life continues.
I rot, but legacy of mine still lingers
The gun draws blank.
I blink and stare, stupefied and frank,
At one more ruthless, glorified mistake...
