Unrest

I awake to the sound of sleep
My eyes empty shadows in the darkness of dreams
My mind bears no other but your image, so deep
Nailed in me, welded, attached to my screams
I awake to the sound of my peaceful breath
My eyes empty wilderness in the light of creeds
My hands bear no other but your health
Choking, smashing, attached to my eyelids
I awake to the sound of me waking up
My eyes full of lust in grayscale of doom
My heart bears no other but giving up
Loving, caressing, attached and glued
I awake to some sound, but I care less
My eyes closed and still are asleep
My consciousness bears no other and no less
Than longing for you, as I sleep.
