A corner, dusty, cobweb filled, so used
An endless rhythm of life’s another endless ruse
A stare, dull and broken, cracked and fused
And almost muted rhythm of veins still pumping, overused
A hillside of the shoulders sagging still
The imperfections, gaps that keep the focus nil
A concave chest that’s barely enough for lungs to fill
A crooked frown on the face, so tired, never kneeled
Will never fucking take the stifling leash
The seconds trickle out like a useless wish
The clock that hits and kicks till bloody flourish
The concrete willpower, hone it, always cherish
The boulder of the fucking need
The force and keening of the greed
The fucking push of having ounce of grit
Because the rest just fuck, and fucking feed!
They lie, and take for granted
The universe, so cold and unrelenting
But in the end, it is tormenting
To step up, brace and fight, while the whole damned world is melting!
